As they grow up, don't be afraid to let them make mistakes when the consequences are minimal. As they get older, you need to relinquish control, and hopefully by then they've learned that actions have consequences and they've learned to make good decisions.
Some parents try to maintain more control over their kids as they grow up, and the kids tend towards rebellion.
No argument from me. One thing I'm curious about - do these sites know who has been controlling the oil markets and this is more gaslighting on who is really pulling the strings? Or do they actually believe what they are saying?
I remember a guy saying one time that the problem with liberals is it's like a religion to them. And anything they hear that reinforces their beliefs gets assimilated, but anything that runs counter to their belief system is automatically rejected without a second thought. I think he had a point.
They should also get rid of the DEF requirement for diesels. Clean burning diesel technology is advancing enough that DEF doesn't provide much (if any) benefit.
If the feds are serious about improving mileage they should figure out a way to encourage affordable hybrid diesel-electrics. The batteries could be relatively small, reducing risk and weight. Some of the new electric motor technology is enabling powerful and light weight motors.
Thanks for the info. I didn't know who that was - since I get news from alternative sources, there's no reason to watch the news for anything more than the weather.
