There was another one off the coast of Washington state outside Portland and Seattle.
Probably C17s, I think most of the C5 fleet that weren't updated have been retired. They've been flying around like that my entire life. My mom was a crew chief and eventually a master chief working in the command post handling the logistics. The first time in my life they weren't flying around in circles incessantly was after 9/11 and they actually had missions to go on.
Finally quit lurking and made an account just to respond to this. I was born on the Dover AFB and spent my whole life watching C5s fly in circles. Like 18 years of being in the direct flight path for those banshee motherfuckers to come in for a landing. Idk much about this plane but it's quite common for them to fly in circles. Think it's something to do with getting in required amount of flight hours.
Does aging 23 year happen to change eye color?
