Hey guys I posted the other day about my dad being extremely sick. We are still in the hospital and I’ve been able to be with his this entire time as he was testing negative. They have tested him FOUR times. Only tested for the flu once. Why are they testing so much? To get what they want?? Well today, they got what they wanted and it came back positive. Up until this point they have been treating him for bacterial infection and have said he’s improving. I asked if their new “treatment plan” included remdisivir and they said yes. I immediately told them absolutely not, we are declining treatment. They are giving steroids but I’m freaking out. If I leave this room, I am not allowed to come back now thought I’ve been allowed to come and go freely for 4 days.

HELP. I don’t know what to do. Do I take him out of here?? He’s still receiving antibiotics which have helped and he needs but I am NOT playing these Covid games. If a patient tests negative 3 times, (4 if you count the missing test) WHY ARE YOU STILL TESTING???? What do I do?? He needs oxygen and antibiotics.

Sidenote: Steroid given was decadron. Any info on this would be good too

Dad has Covid now, not doing well. Please help me pray for him. Praying is not something I do often or well but my dad is my favorite human being and I need him to be okay. We’re at the hospital now and they have treated us with disgust and hate since we got here but he needs oxygen so I had to tolerate it. Please pray, thank you all. I know this place is a safe place for those of us who are tired of weathering the world.

Update: Still here, he has tested negative!! Still being treated for pneumonia and sepsis which is discouraging but I’m able to be here with him to help him and advocate for him. Thank you all for the continued prayers and kind words!! I’m alone here but your words are helping me through.

Caught Covid this week and it’s been rough. I’ve been taking ivermectin and I’m not having any breathing issues but it has still taken it’s toll on me. I keep hoping it’s the last day. How long did Covid last for those of you who took ivermectin?

Hey guys, I know this is a common post and I could probably find the answer in my saved posts but I really just need a quick answer. I think covid is being passed around friends close to my family and now my dad is not feeling well. He has other health conditions and I want to make sure he has what he needs.. where can I get ivermectin locally? Or online sources would be welcome also, just don’t want to go through the trouble of virtual appointments. Also, I know there have been plenty of other things to take being recommended but I can’t even think of what they were right this minute. What other recommendations have you guys heard about to help? Thank y’all so much. I’m hoping it’s just a cold or bug. I really don’t want either of my parents to get sick, I think it would be harder on them than me.

I’ve heard mixed things on whether the vaccines are capable of shedding. I haven’t followed this closely so I honestly know nothing about this but I know an internet search will be useless because I don’t trust anything being said by the media or even medical associations right now. I’m asking because for the last two days I have been having an irregular heartbeat. It started yesterday and I thought it would go away overnight but it has been consistent since yesterday. I plan on scheduling an appointment with my doctor next week. I work in an office with 20+ people who have almost all been vaccinated. Not saying this is the cause, it could definitely be stress related, but it’s extremely odd and it doesn’t seem to be going away. For what it’s worth, I want to mention that I am younger and keep a healthy weight. Do you guys have any credible resources on whether or not shedding is possible?

I was kicked out of a store today for refusing to wear a mask. The girl (I’m guessing, always hard to tell with these people) handed me a mask as I walked in. I continued to walk without putting it on my face. She FOLLOWED me and, causing a scene, told me I needed to put it on my face or leave. I turned around, dropped the mask on the floor and walked out leaving my boyfriend standing there with his mask on. I’m DONE with this.

Side note: I also witnessed a man wearing gloves use hand sanitizer today... on the gloves. I’m fucking done. Get me out of this nightmare.

Just shared with us that she just had a newly vaccinated 14 year old come into the ER with a stroke.

There is no other explanation.

This is the precipice for me and I feel completely helpless. I’m about to lose my job. I don’t even know if protesting is going to change anything but it’s something I can do, action I can take. I haven’t heard of any local protests and I’m wondering where to look to find out what may be coming up that I can join. I’m sure anything posted on social media will be censored or removed completely so does anyone know where else to look?

And in another two weeks, I’m sure they will start requiring the vaccine all together. It seems to be on a two week schedule that they progress their vaccine related requirements.

I will leave as much as I don’t want to and it will ruin my career that I have built. I’m young and I’ve dedicated the last 8 years of my life to my career with this company.

Please keep those of us who work for others in your thoughts. It’s very real and it’s very scary. We are going to lose everything we’ve built for this.
