Well spoken. I think people need to be careful not to push their own religious beliefs on others.

The libertarians take the best approach. As long as there is no harm to others, what's the issue?

I don't think anyone has denied that DEWs exist. There was actually DEW research stuff in the Snowden files uncovered by journalist Suzie Dawson, years ago.

You’re essentially making a game theory argument about why space lasers don’t make much sense in this context, and you are correct.

You can take that a step further if you consider the operational constraints that such an operation would face: primarily, the need for secrecy, since what you’re doing is very immoral (arson land grabs, etc.).

It’s not just secrecy from the public: they need to consider foreign intelligence agencies as well.

Space lasers have technical operators, technicians with access to gps logs, depend on 3rd party flight operators and radar technicians, pilots, and bureaucrats. All of this creates unnecessary operational exposure, which can be completely eliminated by opting to use a single operative on the ground to start a fire.

This is common sense game theory.

You can also bring up the fact that metal roofs have excellent fire ratings (the highest rating of A), and it’s not really weird that a metal roofed building would survive a fire. Maybe blue is good at deflecting lasers, idk. But I know for a fact metal roofs are ideal for fires approaching from the outside.

I could provide literally dozens of sources for that as well—it’s known fact and not really that hard to grasp the physics of it.

I can literally do this all day. The fact that you guys are so intent on censorship is honestly a bit depressing.
