Possibly, yes, or it could be something we know nothing about yet.

Heh, well, I never liked ketchup, but to each their own.

Blah blah blah - enough already. Stop coming after me just because you're incapable of seeing past your own nose.

I said fuck off, doomer. You're not fooling anyone.

He didn't say that. He said today would hopefully be one of the most important days in our history. I don't think he was talking about the speech itself but something else happening at the same time, something that called for a distraction.

Don't. You haven't been.

1
PhantomStranger 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fuck off, doomer.

4
PhantomStranger 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, I think he was trying to make sure he got our attention.

PhantomStranger 4 points ago +4 / -0

Stop spamming us, you damn doomer! He never said that; he said it was hopefully one of the most important days in our history, and it's very likely he meant for reasons other than the speech that had everyone's attention.

PhantomStranger 6 points ago +6 / -0

No, it wasn't. It was a reminder peppered with hints for us to hold fast.

PhantomStranger 2 points ago +2 / -0

One of the most important days, and I don't think it's because of the speech; it's because of what the speech distracted anyone from noticing.

PhantomStranger 8 points ago +8 / -0

Not "almost" to me. I do think it was a distraction from the real plan.

I have compassion, but I don't believe in wasting it on people who are hellbent on seeing the worst in everything.

He mentioned the storm a couple of times, but yes, that's the impression I got. He was telling those of us in the know - us on this board, for example - to hold fast.

You think they get paid by the minute or the comment?

3
PhantomStranger 3 points ago +3 / -0

Bingo! All these doomers are either ignorant of this or just plain don't care because they'd rather be miserable; I don't claim to know which, but it's silly either way.

A declaration of war.

5
PhantomStranger 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah, that tracks to me.

8
PhantomStranger 8 points ago +8 / -0

I don't think he was talking about his own speech when he said that. Something else is going on, but he needed to distract the media by hyping this up.

10
PhantomStranger 10 points ago +10 / -0

It was NOT a waste! Grow up already!

11
PhantomStranger 11 points ago +11 / -0

He was calm and composed, and he did allude to the fraud by saying how we ought to do elections, but more to the point, he mentioned the storm a couple of times. I think something else was going down while he was giving that speech, something that needed a distraction like this.

PhantomStranger 9 points ago +9 / -0

He did hint at the storm, but gave the impression it's not here yet.

2
PhantomStranger 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, so did I.
