Depends on the person and the case, how much spotlight it has gained from the MSM etc.
For example in 2014 of the biggest shipowners in Greece, Evangelos Marinakis had one of his ships involved in a case of drugs.
The ship had 2.1 tons of Heroin which is estimated to cost from 200mil to 400mil € (!), enough Heroin to wipe out the whole fucking country. Obviously Greece is the port of Europe and the whole package was not meant just for Greece.
The case headed to justice for years with no conclusion, meanwhile year after year key witnesses kept dying/disappearing, one prosecutor lost got fired iirc and the other left the country.
Marinakis has huge influence because he also controls the main and only printing and distribution newspaper company in the whole country.

This news have been big in Greece for the past weeks, in the beginning they were trying to downplay it and they were avoiding referring to his name.
You could read it from a site or two but it would not circulate on the mainstream media. As the weeks kept going on more people kept talking about him and the MSM were forced to "expose" him. The news got too big to contain.
This person has direct ties to the Minister of Culture who refuses to step down and the Prime Minister doesn't give a fuck. They are trying to use the ex-National Theatre Director as a scapegoat, that he was working alone etc.
However even his "arrest" is taken lightly. He is free for now with restrictive conditions iirc and the police did not even search his house. Sadly the gov has full control on everything.
Also lots of sources iirc suggest that he had many kids visit him via NGOs (NGOs which are here in Greece to "help" with the immigration crisis which has been going on for +6 years), and all of them did not want to go back. He probably raped him obviously etc.

Even one of Firefox's last advantages was lost when it got the Quantum update, aka it lost its good addon support. They got limited so hard its a travesty.

Brave has the positive stuff of Chromium which is speed and compatibility (something which Firefox lacks) while stripping away Google integrated services.
Nothing is perfect of course but its a start and an easy one to be honest. Then there is Ungoogled Chromium but Brave is the middle ground at least for starters.
Even when it comes to syncing your bookmarks etc you do not create an account but the passcode is ~16 words like its a bitcoin wallet or some shit.
