If you want an easy way to avoid Google related services just try Brave.

Made by the creator of JavaScript and one of the founders of the original Firefox before they sold out their soul

Brave has the positive stuff of Chromium which is speed and compatibility (something which Firefox lacks) while stripping away Google integrated services.

Nothing is perfect of course but its a start and an easy one to be honest. Then there is Ungoogled Chromium but Brave is the middle ground at least for starters.

Even when it comes to syncing your bookmarks etc you do not create an account but the passcode is ~16 words like its a bitcoin wallet or some shit.

This 100%

Started using Brave maybe 6-8 months ago, and haven't looked back since. I also find it's built in ad-block to be amazing! It even has little notes on the new tab page that tell you how much bandwidth and time you've saved by blocking ads and trackers.

Then there's also the feature of opening a new tab in Private with TOR. Not quite as secure as the TOR bundle on it's own, or booting up tails or something, but beats normal private mode by using the TOR network.

It's built on Chromium which is open source, safe and good. What makes Chrome bad is this the proprietary stuff they put on top of chromium. Chromium itself is fine. Since it's open source no one can put anything bad into it without it getting noticed by someone else.

I really like the UI of Firefox and generally feel like it's the best of the mainstream browsers. I've been using Brave the last few days and it's fine though slightly clunkier than what I'm used to. I'm also giving Waterfox a try and of course I like the layout since I'm so used to it. But the lack of an iOS option is disappointing. I really liked Firefox's option to send a tab from mobile to desktop and vice versa. Is there a way I can still do that using Waterfox on the PC and some other browser on iOS?

Yes, but how can you verify that the compiler is not inserting code when it detects its compiling chromium?

Works fine if your compiling your own version of chromium, using your own compiled compiler (not using gcc binaries downloaded from the internet).

But nobody ever does that, how do you really know whats in your gcc compiler? You don't.

Which Brave is doing isn't that right ? Iirc Brave has removed all Google related stuff.

Even their development is transparent and it actually progresses forward unlike Firefox's which goes 1 step forward 10 steps back.

They care more about politics and diversity hire than their browser.

Which Brave is doing isn't that right ? Iirc Brave has removed all Google related stuff.

It's been a long time since I've looked at it, but I seriously doubt it. Many parts of Chromium inherently still use Google related services, the extent of which you may or may not find troubling.

Even their development is transparent and it actually progresses forward unlike Firefox's which goes 1 step forward 10 steps back.

Both are FLOSS projects so I don't know what you could be referring to by transparency, nor do I know of any regressions made in Firefox.

They care more about politics and diversity hire than their browser.

I'm not disupting that I dislike the company, don't get me wrong, but from a privacy standpoint they are the best choice. There are only Firefox and Chromium based browsers. You have to make a choice.

Expand your thinking

Remember, this .WIN is the public face of the Great Awakening, and, as a member here, you agree to represent the Great Awakening movement against Globalism, Communism and Progressive Insanity in the best, most positive way possible. NOTE: Your comments and posts may become news. Keep it classy!

This is not a 'fringe conspiracy' site: Visit https://conspiracies.win if that's your thing!

No doomers or shills

If you can't use common sense, you'll get banned without hesitation. If you're a shill, you fall under this rule. If you're a doomer, you fall under this rule as you just add garbage to the site like the other two. This includes forum sliding.

General Rules

  • Mods will issue NO warnings, followed by temporary bans and/or permanent bans. DO NOT GRIEF THE MODS.

  • Keep posts related to topics Q has raised or that are current.

  • Keep post duplication (especially from other .WINs) to a minimum.

  • HIGH EFFORT, HIGH-INFO posts only! Please respect other readers' time. Please use descriptive titles. No URLs in titles, pls. No clickbait.

  • No fame-fagging; no, "your" post did not get removed! Were you the original author?? Eyes on the prize, people!

  • Memes encouraged, but no low-quality, low-info posts.

  • Keep it honest and accurate.

  • GAW Supporters ONLY. (Sorry, the train had no brakes.)

  • Handshake noobs will be scrutinized by their Q knowledge, sincerity, and respect.

  • Remember, your conduct here represents the Q movement! OUR ENEMIES ARE WATCHING!

  • Please direct all complaints to modmail first!
