See post from u/aslan_is_on_the_move for context: https://greatawakening.win/p/17siEeKpcO/ketanji-brown-jackson-warns-righ/

According to WND, She essentially went there, making this story almost, if not actual, Not the Bee material:

https://www.wnd.com/2024/03/ketanji-jackson-comments-got-even-worse-fretting-hamstringing/

Jackson fretted, "My biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the federal government in significant ways in the most important time periods."

This wasn't even the worst of her statements, that would come later:

"So can you help me? Because I’m really — I’m really worried about that because you’ve got the First Amendment operating in an environment of threatening circumstances from the government’s perspective," Jackson told Louisiana Solicitor General Benjamin Aguiñaga. Why couldn’t the government communicate with social media companies then? Jackson queried.

Margo Cleveland at The Federalist clarifies the problems with this here: https://thefederalist.com/2024/03/20/justice-jacksons-comment-about-free-speech-hamstringing-the-government-wasnt-her-worst/

I almost trashed the computer last night as I listened to Traitor Joe (as pro-abortion at any time and for any reason) use the 'logic' : "SCOTUS was wrong to overturn Roe v. Wade - Because some abortions are essential for the life of the mother!' to castigate the conservative of the Supreme Court. (f you don't want to see his speech , you can read it here: https://thelibertydaily.com/heres-text-sotu-case-your-cant-understand-gibberish/

Resident Biden Said This:

Like most Americans, I believe Roe v. Wade got it right. And I thank Vice President Harris for being an incredible leader, defending reproductive freedom and so much more. (50% is NOT most: https://www.politico.com/news/2022/05/04/poll-roe-v-wade-00029889 and the majority is often wrong, which is why we have a republic and not a democracy: Roe is misunderstood by many, as seen in this poll: https://www.npr.org/2019/06/07/730183531/poll-majority-want-to-keep-abortion-legal-but-they-also-want-restrictions

The Truth Is Far More Nuanced, Polled Do Not Understand Just How Far Roe v. Wade Took Things:

In all, 61% said they were in favor of a combination of limitations that included allowing abortion in just the first three months of a pregnancy (23%); only in cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the woman (29%); or only to save the life of the woman (9%).

But my predecessor came to office determined

to see Roe v. Wade overturned.

He’s the reason it was overturned. In fact, he brags about it.

Look at the chaos that has resulted.

Joining us tonight is Kate Cox, a wife and mother

from Dallas.

When she became pregnant again, the fetus had a fatal condition.

Her doctors told Kate that her own life and her ability to have children in the future were at risk if she didn’t act.

Because Texas law banned abortion, Kate and her husband had to leave the state to get the care she needed. (This is a LIE: Abortion in Texas is illegal in most cases, except to save the mother's life, or prevent substantial impairment of major bodily function. A trigger law has been in effect since August 25, 2022, which bans abortion in all cases except to save the life of the mother. Wikipedia

What her family has gone through should never have happened as well. But it is happening to so many others.

There are state laws banning the right to choose, criminalizing doctors, and forcing survivors of rape and incest to leave their states as well to get the care they need.

(Granted, Texas may have gone too far, here, but this is a state's rights issue) Many of you in this Chamber and my predecessor are promising to pass a national ban on reproductive freedom.

My God, what freedoms will you take away next?

In its decision to overturn Roe v. Wade the Supreme Court majority wrote, “Women are not without –

electoral or political power.”

Besides the fact : SCOTUS was right, according to the Tenth Amendment, to remove this issue from federal control, the real facts on the ground are:

  1. This is an extreme outlier case, as even the CDC and Guttmacher (The Research Arm Of PP) admit: https://www.guttmacher.org/sites/default/files/pdfs/tables/370305/3711005t3.pdf

2.Elective Abortions Account For > 92% Of All Abortions, Look at Florida's Stats: https://ahca.myflorida.com/content/download/7207/file/TrimesterByReason_2021.pdf

  1. States And Local Governments, For All Their Faults, Are Closer to The People Then The Federal Government Is, So The Founders Left Control With Them.

  2. Of Course, Traitor Joe Would Not Mention The Number of Women Harmed by Abortion: https://theunchoice.com/
