Some people have too many other parts of their lives occupying their time ... spouse/bf or gf, kids, job, hobbies, sports teams, TV/movies, etc.
How do I know? I was one of them. In 2016 when DJT was elected, I was happy Killary lost bc I had a loose understanding she was an evil bitch and wouldn't make a good leader, but I really wouldn't have cared at the end of the day. I was 25-26 and too focused on other things in my life.
2020 opened my eyes. I stopped caring about sports, tv shows, trivial entertainment. I cut my video game playing probably by 75-80%. I learned some new skills last year that could lead to extra income (photography, DJ'ing). Suddenly I also had more time to listen/watch podcasts and discover more about our government and the people at the top.
TLDR: Some people care, but just don't make the time to discover new info because life is so hectic as it is.

Same. However this past year or so I have basically all interest in movies, television, and any form of Hollyweird entertainment. Even as a lifelong sports fan, I watch a fraction of what I used to. The cramming of social justice and politics into my escape from reality was the final straw. Not to mention pro sports with zero fans doesn't do it for me. It's like 10% of the energy of a typical game. Fuck 'em.
Definitely suspicious of John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. Even before this past summer where all those weird tweets came out from Teigen years ago.
It never made sense to me why the media fawned over that couple. John Legend really isn't on the level of top musicians, but constantly was praised and I feel like he hasn't even had recent music played in the Top 40 garbage that dominates the airwaves.
Teigen is bleh. Even in her SI days she didn't hold a candle to the SI swimsuit standard. Why was she included? At least the SI plus-size girl Ashley (can't recall her last name) has a pretty face. Teigen is so overrated and an absolute TDS lunatic on top of it. Imagine being married to that.
My point being, these two aren't even at the top of their industry, yet have been put on this pedestal as the ultimate power couple (a la Jay-Z and Beyonce) for years. Makes ya wonder why ...
