When doctors, EMS, First Responders, etc check to see if a person is either alive or dead, what's the first thing they check for? Their heartbeat. When there's no heartbeat, they're presumed dead. When there is, it's called a sign of life. When your unborn baby has a heartbeat, it's a sign of life. by mizzAmerica45

They check for a pulse, but they are also not allowed to call it. The rules and laws of different medical systems in current countries is also irrelevant.

So, I agree that abortion is wrong, but not because of a heartbeat or related rules. The heartbeat is irrelevant. Life starts at conception.
