My dad is almost fully awake but cannot transcend the politics. I’ve had success introducing him to to commentators he may not have listened to otherwise. He will not acknowledge the role of the federal bank as a globalist weapon. He also will not acknowledge that politics are essentially a form of Marxism designed to keep the American people divided.

I’ve used some of his past awakening lessons and attempted to display the ideas to him on a larger scale. He understands that the central bank printing money is killing the American Dollar. He acknowledges the role they’ve played in our destruction but will not acknowledge it as a globalist designed institution.

I used to sit and play songs for my grandma on guitar. Usually once a week. I would go sit with her and just play music. She loved it. We did it weekly for years. At least 5 years. She was on hospice for 3 days before she died. How lucky was I? I had three days to sit with grandma and just play music for her and the family who had gathered to say their goodbyes. A real chance to say goodbye.

Both of these songs were pretty regular in my playlists. She passed in 2015 and I’ve probably listened to each less than ten times since.

I had an encounter with a guy today who was confrontational at first. He pulled up and approached my wife, who was on our front porch, regarding our properly displayed, yet upside down American Flag! I apologized for using harsh language and again expressed my gratitude for his service. I explained to him that I’m CERTAINLY NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO WOULD THROW THE FLAG ON THE GROUND AND STOMP ON IT. He acknowledged this and expressed his belief in the importance of people’s ability to think differently. He was very understanding of everything I said but NOT ONCE did he express any hint at his own political ideology.

We are both in our thirties. My brother gained an incredible understanding of politics at a young age. He is VERY ANTI WOKE, to this day.

He’s always had a full time job, often 40-60 hrs weekly. Single guy, no children. Very upset about the stolen 2020 election, he was convinced we were going to civil war, like HOT war. Stopped working completely about 7 months ago.

He hates the idea of any type of work. Huge ego problem. No longer takes accountability. He stopped all drinking about 3 months ago. I was hoping we might see improvement. He has now achieved, what I believe to be his “final hollow form”. He sucks all joy from the room. He finds pleasure in absolutely nothing. He plays video games but he doesn’t even seem to enjoy those much anymore.

This is a guy who deeply understands the conversations between Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris. He had an INCREDIBLE wealth of self help knowledge. He has rehabilitated two very close friends with severe drug issues, years apart. Both success stories, not outstanding guys, but both turned their lives around.

He is also a huge fan of Jocko (if you’re not familiar, check him out. Legend has it he didn’t want to fill out any paperwork when his service with the SEAL team was up, he just left, end of story).

Today he helped me with a job. Standing near him was unfamiliar. I felt like I was standing next to a stranger. My brother and I were mostly inseparable until our 20’s.
