I am looking for an example of an individual soldier (like we saw with Trump entering the White House or Marine One) popping a salute).

Have you seen an individual instance? Like when a Marine is assisting with a door, etc. Trump was always popping off a salute in response to individual soldiers saluting him.

I am NOT a hopium merchant. I believe Trump is about to do something but I am not reading tea leaves to find out what it is (we will see when he is ready to see) but the military does not fuck around with protocol and ceremony. Not one little bit.

And the weird 21 gun salute Biden got? Not personally laying the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier? An accumulating mass of signals from the military?

I am not really looking at videos of Biden but I have not seen a soldier salute him yet. Has anyone seen in a video an example of him receiving a salute?

Nobody does. But if every video they post ends up with a 4 or 5 to 1 ratio of negative to positive posts, it is at least one tiny way to show the truth of their unpopularity.
