James 1:5-6: If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. Romans 8:1- there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I could go on. Your salvation is not based on your works or your perfection. It is solely based on Jesus' accomplished work on the Cross. Otherwise, grace wouldn't be grace. He loves you like you love your kids only more. They don't have to do a thing to be loved and cherished by you. If you've fallen short and recognize it, today is a new day. Go forward. Phil 3:1-Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead... Ahead of you is an important decision. Jer 29:11 reminds us that he has good plans for us which means, as James 1:5 also indicates, that He desires to let you in on it. Spend some time with Him each day. You could read from your Bible, do a daily devotional, listen to a doctrinally sound teacher, listen to praise and worship music as some examples. Prayer and thanksgiving. One of the primary ways that God speaks to me is through His Word. Confirmation of what He is saying can also come through some surprising ways sometimes. Remember, He loves you. If you're reaching for Him, He's excited, I think--kind of like when your grown children call you if that's not already their habit or even if it is. If you strive to keep your promises as a parent and you're made in His image, surely, He will keep His. You can trust that even if your feelings don't always align. Sometimes, I have to simply choose to believe His promises regardless of my emotions. The dust always settles and clears. He has always proven Himself faithful to me. God bless you! I'll be praying for you
Now? Not exactly. This isn't new.....
If a young woman commits a crime worthy of death such as counting to another religion, they literally have to rape her because being a virgin guaranteed you Paradise and that works be a contradiction. I've heard this right it of the mouth of Mina Nevisa, a Christian convert, in person. Her father was one of the to 25 Muslim scholars in the ME. The religion is demonic. It can transform the most living of fathers into raging, client men in an instant over stuff like this. This is widespread across Muslim nations. I know this because I've followed the Persecuted Church for decades. Accountability is needed but they also need prayer. Imagine growing up like that and it's all you've ever known.
There you go. Renee Good's partner (not actually her wife) is filing a lawsuit and is being represented by George Floyd's family lawyer. This should be interesting.
I definitely appreciate your perspective. I think that anyone who holds office should have only US citizenship. My mother was originally from Europe and retained dual citizenship. It made it easier for her to travel back and forth when she returned to visit family. I think that it also made it possible for her to collect a pension check or social security that she had paid into and was eligible for from her home country. I was personally eligible for it and it would have benefited my kids if I had gotten it. Probably because of my own experience, it doesn't bother me personally. I'm definitely a patriot. If I had dual citizenship and had to choose, it wouldn't be a difficult choice to make.
This is allegedly tied to affiliations with "certain groups"which could hypothetically be for good cause or not.I was curious if anyone knew anything more about. I don't have Tiktok where this is apparently trending.
Although I've withdrawn from liberal latte land, fled actually, and am much happier for it, I prefer hope, but I can appreciate your professed lack of optimism.
CO is controversial even on this site, liked by some and not by others. I wanted to keep the focus on the overall content. As for CO personally, I'm not comfortable with her patterns of behavior over the last couple of decades or so and while I thought that some of her questions re: CK had merit, she has also been credibly debunked on a number of things so I prefer to look elsewhere for information.
I voted for Trump 3x's as well. I just wondered if anyone knew anything about it.
I don't have Tiktok, but supposedly it's affecting people who are affiliated with certain groups that could be for the good, I suppose, or not.
Thanks for the reminder! That's sound advice.
With much more to come. It's so sad that it had to get this bad in order to turn it around. God's people need to learn from this and stay vigilant and playful after all of this gets cleaned up.
I know. I didn't mind them as much as I struggle with those who don't get either because it's too conspiratorial or violates their liberal beliefs. In my personal circle, their hearts are in the right place many of them....
I started a rather lengthy post to this several days ago and as I got close to finishing, the entire thing got erased. I do plan to try again. I just have multiple irons in the fire atm and it's taking me time to circle back to this.i have what I believe is a thoughtful response that is based on what I am knowledgeable about and believe that I can speak to. Perhaps it will generate a good conversation which is something that I value. Thanks for your patience.
Interesting reaction
I don't trust govt including our own to always do the right thing.I honestly wonder how much our perspective might be impacted if we had access to non open source Intel. That said, from the little I do happen to know, it looks really bad.....
She's the type of person who has done a lot of research from what I can see. This was only a Short. I do sometimes listen to people that I wouldn't necessarily agree with to get their perspective. That said, I've not researched this so, there's that....
Good point. This is a YouTube short that was obviously taken from a longer video. She's done a lot of research and posted a lot of content on the DS,etc. I've only just recently become acquainted with her. I try not to spend to much time on politics, but if I come across the original video and it seems to have some credibility, I'll post it. I try to be thoughtful and careful.
I can understand your perspective. Otoh, the people of Gaza could have used the funds they received to build another port of Singapore. Instead they built a terror network from which they launched missiles at Israel requiring three separate missile defense systems and regularly engaged in knife and gun attacks, car rammings, and suicide bombings. None of this remotely consistent with an attempt to coexist. According to Brigitte Gabriel (look her up if you don't know her), when Israel left the Gaza strip in '05, they destroyed the multi million dollar greenhouse business as well as other infrastructure and thousands of Christians fled the Gaza strip. Those who remained, have faced persecution for their faith including death. All of these things are consistent with Islamic ideology. Whatever else is or isn't true, this was never a good deal for Israel. The Koran calls for Islam to have all of Israel to include all of Jerusalem and for the death and/or subjugation of Jews, Christians, and other infidels. They have their sites on the US as well. I don't seek to be an alarmist by being overly dramatic. I do believe that Islam, properly practiced and followed(and most in the world do) is a real danger to the West. The open borders have left us more at risk than ever. When I come on this site, I am sometimes left with the impression that there is a focus on the Jews that is dangerous in that it overlooks or at least minimizes the very real threat of Islam.
Hamas is an entity into itself that is its own evil. Islam, when practiced according to the entirety of the Koran, calls for Jihad against ALL infidels. That is something to take seriously. Mohammad was a violent man, a rapist, a man who married a six year old. Child marriage of little girls is widely practiced.i am deeply concerned for my country because while so many appear to focus on the evils of the Jews, the threat of Islam seems to receive so little attention or concern. Also, Mutah marriage where a man travels away from home and, in order to avoid sexual sin, marries a girl or young woman whom he discards even if she is pregnant when he leaves is common. Christian orgs go in and perform surgery to repair damage to girls who have need of it after giving birth at too young of an age. I would like to see the same outrage from this community over that that I hear over objectionable Talmudic verses and abusive rabbis.
That is one possible explanation. My take is different, in part, because it is impossible for me to observe and learn about this universe that we live in and discount the existence of intelligent design. As a result, I am a firm believer in a sovereign God who is all powerful yet loving. Loving enough to give us free will on the one hand and yet also willing and able to intervene. For those who choose good, we see that same valuing of free will yet willingness to struggle for truth and to engage in efforts to reign it in when it goes too far in the other direction leading to tyranny. For us, our struggle is perhaps to seek to find that balance whereby we ensure free will without truly infringing on it. Hence the power of patience producing the gradual awakening of the masses. For God, who is all knowing, all wise, all powerful, and perfectly loving, He is patient as He works in the hearts and affairs of humanity to allow us to see by experience the folly of departing from His wisdom and His ways so that we will call upon Him to not only assist us but also to act on our behalf. If I am right in what I am saying, then I believe that before this is all over, we will surely see things occur that can only be attributed to this God. For the record, I am a follower of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and a believer in Jesus Christ. Time will tell.
Okay, so I'm not bothered by the "Jesus" depiction of Trump let alone a few other things I've seen from him of late. Can someone help me understand a few things about this post? He's claiming things that surprise me such as Brigitte is not a man, is prettier than Candace, and Alex Jones is completely wrong about Sandy Hook. (Sandy Hook, I personally have questions about although I have difficulty believing some of the theories surrounding it.) I agree that CO, TC, MK are deserving of his ire. AJ I don't follow, so I can't speak to that. Why would he single out those issues in the first place let alone the fact that there are plenty other things that he could go after them about?
