He hit my car a car he lives in. He has done nothing but show concern for me and making sure his insurance company is fixing my car while he only has liability.

I went to walk through the Christmas lights last night with a friend and while I was waiting to pull in very nice gentleman drove into the back of my car. The damage is not very bad and he has insurance. The police were nearby because of the event and drove up and wanted to make sure that both drivers had credentials and made an incident report. . It was misty rainy and cold. He got out of the car and came to help me out and make sure I was okay. He was so nice! He said are you okay? I'm a Marine do you need any help and I'm so sorry I hit you. When I got out of the car I knew I was facing a soldier. He was concerned about me and of course the cost of insurance. He never turned in a claim wasn't really sure how it worked. Where's he been I wondered?
This marine was so concerned if I was okay. He promised my car would get fixed and he was hoping to work and pay for it himself. I wanted information from him and I asked him for his address. He said "ma'am, I'm living in the car right now so we can only share my insurance information." I looked at this immaculate man with a very clean car and broke down. The years of working with veterans and coming face to face with this! I almost got sick. It's Christmas and it's cold. He kept asking me if I was okay I told him why I was hurting and angry and he said he understood and gave me a hug! I could not believe how calm he was and how he told me not to worry. He will be okay he said he had been in worse situations than this. I am sickened by this going on while they are giving $3,000 cards to every illegal crossing our border. I have no other way to help him other than how I have been helping for many years. He also told me he was going right to the insurance because he had radiator damage and his car could not be driven. He said today, now he is worried he was using his car for Doordash to earn money and survive. He had just enough money this morning for stop leak and I told him to set up a GoFundMe page. I'm sending it to everyone I know to even just give $1 to this veteran for Christmas. I am sickened over meeting such a wonderful person who served our country, came home and is living in his car. Take a look!
We are patriots and I think adopting him for Christmas with even just a dollar, will go a long way just to get the car fixed. I pray there are some people that can help him a little bit. Merry Christmas 🎄🎄
