They mostly are -- they just don't make the news, or spread online. Only the loud ones do.
Normie here, occasional lurker, in the bluest of blue cities in a blue state. fwiw, yes vaxxed, no TDS (I'm not a fan of the guy, but he doesn't make me froth at the mouth or whatever).
My mood? Pretty good right now -- I think Biden stepping down and Harris stepping up was the right decision (and the polls seem to agree), makes me feel better about Dems' chances in November; Biden had an uphill battle ahead of him. I think Walz is a perfectly adequate VP pick; Shapiro seemed a little too fame-hungry, Kelly a little too stodgy. Walz is like the fun uncle, I'll buy it. That's all he needs to be, anyway.
Thoughts on the near-assassination: decidedly not in favor. Tragedy would just create more tragedy. More chaos on top of chaos. Trump dodged a bullet and the country did too.
give em a "Kamala 2024!" and a thumbs-up, for the double-bluff ironic subtle fakeout takedown.
In 1968, Lucille Ball, who was a huge fan of the book, purchased the film rights to "Valley of the Dolls" and produced a movie adaptation through her production company, Desilu Productions. The film, released in 1967, starred Barbara Parkins, Patty Duke, and Sharon Tate.
wait what? how does she buy the rights in 1968 and make the movie in 1967?
The press refers to former presidents as "President _____", even if they're not in office anymore.
They still call Obama "President Obama", they call Bush "President Bush", etc.
