Coastlines are roughly equal in length, unless taking into account all the bays and inlets in the US; then we have 10x the coastline.
One angle: The gulf was named by Spanish conquistadors; conquering and colonizing are bad; therefore, the name must change in order to progress. Naming it after the entire continent is also more inclusive of all the countries in North America.
Another angle: Mexico is a shithole country, one of our biggest trade partners yet colluding with cartels trafficking children and fentanyl, and allowing the worst criminals from around the world across our border to kill us; so they can fuck substantially off. If he wants to name it Trump Gulf, you'll call it Trump Gulf and like it.

The left's slobbering obsession with minimizing Donald Trump's popular support—especially given their wet fetish for the popular vote!—is both amusing and puzzling. How hysterical do you have to be to publish a number one tenth of the actual amount? One tenth? Really? You're willing to be wrong by 90 percent, just to bash the most popular guy? That is some commitment to election interference right there.
It is patently obvious that the Trump campaign is more reliably accurate and truthful than MSMBS. (In fact, MS-13 is more truthful than MSMBS.) So, if the 105,000 number is correct—as video evidence appears to support—this tops the NJ throng by 2,000, making it possibly the largest political rally in American history.
