Well people were saying they would be smashed in 3 days. Putin now says October. And they can't take any troops from Pokrovsk to do it.

Invading Kursk is a strategic gamble long term, but it's had several tactical successes so far.

Putin didn't even put the military or the Intel agencies in charge of the Kursk operations. Putin has appointed his former bodyguard, Alexey Dyumin to lead it. That feels significant to me

It means the previous indictment is no longer in force. This updated Indictment replaced it.

Essentially the Supreme Court ruled against aspects of the cases, but not against the whole case.

So Smith had to take out some stuff. So he actually went to a new Grand jury and presented the whole case again.

Who knows what we could see by the end of today. But it seems that Ukraine is collapsing in real time.

At the same time Ukraine has taken Russian territory for the first time in the war. Ukraine now occupies a large area in Kursk. Supposedly 500 square miles. This week they began attacks in the Belgorod region.

This argues against a collapse.

Both sides are making moves. Both sides are gaining territory. Both sides are losing territory.

You can say both sides are taking a gamble too.
