Any commoners of Reddit here will know, for the last several years, Reddit has been a cesspool of anti-conservative groupthink, communist propaganda, and cultural degradation. This goes double for subreddits such as r/news and r/politics. There’s been speculation that Tencent (Chinese censorship company) had acquired a controlling stake in Reddit several years ago and since has overwhelmed the platform with bots and moderated it with a communist and ultimately culturally destructive agenda.

Until now?

Not sure if anyone else has noticed lately that Reddit has been trending in another direction in spite of all logic that it would only worsen and continue on its downward spiral. Besides, it’s been fairly successful on its devious goal. What exactly is going on? Is this a result of action taken on EO 13848?

Lately, I’ve seen several threads and numerous comments that would have historically been deleted, removed, or downvoted into oblivion. I’ll give three examples that many of you have likely already seen for yourself.

1. Youngkin wins Virginia governor race - we see the typical doomer comments from leftists but also plenty of comments from conservatives that aren’t deleted but even - upvoted? https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/qlkmku/republican_glenn_youngkin_won_virginias_governor

3. (Today) “MSNBC barred from court, producer followed jury bus” - the type of thread you would typically see deleted quickly (especially with a Fox News source) but instead we witness numerous red pills getting heavily reinforced with Reddit awards . https://www.reddit.com/r/news/comments/qwviug/kyle_rittenhouse_trial_msnbc_barred_from_court

None of these topics or this discussion with based comments would be allowed within a propaganda machine. You do, however, still see plenty of propaganda and outright false headlines/articles on Reddit. But I tend to wonder if this is legitimate contributions of the brainwashed normies or a continuation of “the machine”.
