It was to create support for authoritarianism, not resistance to it. It was to trick people into supporting the potential overthrow of democracy and democratic norms on behalf of various interested parties with aligning agendas.

What if it's all just lies and all a psyop, to make people support Trump and be against Democrats? What if actually the Republicans and Trump were the bad guys and they were trying to use the internet, and the worst possible things you could imagine (pedo stuff etc) to get people to turn against Dems and support them instead? To get people to ignore all the corrupt things they were doing by claiming it was all 'fake news' and anyone who criticised them and went against them was 'deep state'?

What if all along Trump & the Rs were the ones who were engaging in corruption, doing things for other countries, doing things to try and help corporations and the wealthy, trying to get people to support authoritarianism and go against democracy?

If you think about it, wealth inequality has gotten really bad in the US, a lot of people are struggling, tensions get high. The billionaires made trillions during 2020 while everyone else suffered. It's inevitable in those situations that, in a democracy, people will start voting more for who they think can help them out. What if they voted for a person or a party that would try and crack down on corporations, make workers rights better, tax the lower income people less and the ridiculously billionaire-rich people more? That would be really bad for the oligarchs. The oligarchs want power and to keep all the wealth for themselves, so they decide to try and get people to vote for them and support them to overthrow democracy, so that they can then have complete control. To do that, they decide to use social media, the internet, create a whole alternative reality using propaganda websites, various accounts, seeding theories etc, and help amplify it when it takes on a life of its own.

So everyone who was following Q was actually following a completely made up reality while actually supporting the bad guys, thinking they're supporting the good guys. The riots at the capitol were actually an attempted coup, a way to try to use the patriots against their own country and constitution with the hope they would kill the opposition and allow the bad guys to take over.

It's a way of getting good people to support bad shit. That's why Trump never denounced Q, yet nothing Q predicted happened. Trump knew Q followers saw him as savior, so he didn't want to discourage them, but at the same time, everything Q was saying was lies. Trump knew that, but he just wanted the support, he didn't care that it was hurting people or making them terrified about all these pedophiles taking over their country etc.

Honestly, that is what makes the most sense. Obviously Q was lying, nothing he predicted happened. Basically, none of it happened - the arrests didn't happen, the storm didn't happen, and the Democrats aren't actually evil satan worshipping pedophiles, they are just normal politicians, flawed, but not evil. Q tried to demonise them to whip people up into a frenzy of fear and hatred, because fear and hatred is really useful to a group/political party if you're trying to get and maintain power.

Everything is basically inverted. In reality, patriots are the scary group who were inadvertently being used in an attempt to overthrow democracy and help install an authoritarian regime, using all the classics that authoritarians use - engendering mistrust of the media, science, opposition - not just mistrust, but outright hatred (because they're all painted as evil child killers etc.) It's really really horrific what Q has done, in my opinion. It's destroyed so many people.
