If you really understand scripture you can abstract the simple fact that your soul which houses you spirit can be filled two ways.
• With Holy Spirit and with Evil Spirit.
The fundamental difference in the two derives from the war in heaven which Satan lost. The result of this derivation is that no man can be completely, 100%, filled with Evil spirit. Meaning, you, while alive, always have a tether to allow Holy Spirit to fill you and save you. Whether the ratio is 99% Evil 1% Holy or 50% Evil 50% Holy.
So what implication does this have? Well it means that because Holiness won the battle for the salvation of man, man can exits in a state of Holinees 100% Evil 0% (through repentance and the beliefs that God saves)
But how is this manifested and is it True? Because Satan cannot match God, one to one, in the fight for man’s spirit, satan has to use multiple different people. Satan has to corrupt 5% of person 1, 10% of person two, 33% of person three, 7% of person four, 90% of person five, etc. just to combat one person who is 100% holy.
This get exponentially more hard for Satan when he has to contend with multiple people who are 100% Holy (Saved by Christ)
The idea begins with the fact that when light is shown in darkness, darkness isn’t able to comprehend it, nor does dark consume light. The darkness seeks to find more darkness to try and cover the light or to put great distances between that light.
Satan has to use the inequities of man, the corruptions in his spirit, to tarnish the spirit of someone who has the Lord Jesus Christs protection.
The more and more you allow Evil into your soul, the greater Satans worldly rewards will be for you at the expense of eternal life and peace.
People harbored with Evil need companions to reassure themselves that they are satisfied now because they reject forever. They reject that being Holy is necessary because they reject the scope of forever. It’s the whole “I can be Evil if it makes me happy on earth because death is final” and that “because death is final, there is no need to be Holy, because of the consequence we face on earth from Satans minions; and that’s not worth being happy forever on earth and in eternity”
