Congrats on your new baby coming! Definitely do not let your baby out of your sight if you have a hospital birth. Hep B for newborns is a crime. We refused all shots for all of our kids, and had a birth plan on paper we handed them when we got there. No Vitamin K (full of toxins as well and there is a reason newborns have low K at birth), no eye drops (my husband and I were virgins when we married and no chance of STD’s to infect baby’s eyes). The doctors thought we were bonkers but I have zero regrets that none of my kids were vaxxed. The exception is our son we adopted from foster care. He had all his shots until adoption was final and he is my only kid that has allergies to everything, incliding a life threatening nut allergy. My other three have only had one round of antibiotics each their entire lives (now ages 16, 14, 10). No ear infections (except my partially vaxxed son). They are healthy, and recover quickly from illness. We now homeschool, but never had an issue in our state once we got exemptions for school.
