I don't trust the government to amend the constitution. From what I understand, a constitutional convention can edit the constitution different from the proposal that led to the convention.
Local and state laws should have the same effect as what's being proposed. Not sure why it needs to be an amendment.

My hope was that the requirement would be dropped by now. But since it's not, I've shifted to I-602, which I am getting assistance with writing.
This is not an issue of credibility. Domestically you can ignore them all you want. As as a US citizen trying to bring my family back to the states, this is the criteria that DHS uses to grant immigration visas. So I can't move back to my own country because of this bullshit.
Covid-19 vaccine mandates are still being applied by CDC and enforced by DHS for green card applicants.
- Applicants MUST show proof of vaccination within the last year
- The only medical exemption is a bad reaction to a prior shot
- The minimum age is 6 months old
- Pregnancy is NOT an exception
- Refusing to get the jab means an application will be thrown out
It is possible to apply for a religious/medical exemption, but it is a long, expensive and drawn out process. A lot of people are trying to bring family members to the states and are being met with these mandates and otherwise being FORCED to get the jab. This is STILL happening in 2024, the federal government has not dropped their mandates.
