Boy, you're really triggered, aren't you? Try going offline for a while and sipping some tea or something. I may engage in troll-like behaviour, especially when someone is so easily triggered, but mostly I speak up here against things that I believe are clearly wrong and lacking in the logic Q says should be applied to things.

This is right. But I would also say that there is some merit in the thinking that: "Jesus does not say no part of the law will ever pass away; he says no part of it shall pass away until it is fulfilled. He says he came to do this very thing, to fulfill it. So, with his coming, the law has been fulfilled and has passed away. We now live under the law of Christ, not beneath the law of Moses." And "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord." I would argue that the difference between justified killing and murder is simply self-defense and the defense of the innocent. I'm not sure that avenging the innocent fits within this definition. But of course, all trolling aside, to each his own. "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."

Everyone knows the difference. Try looking it up sometime. Murder is "premeditated malice", which describes the comment I was replying to, although bloodthirsty ppl of simpleminds think some acts of murder are justified. Vengeance is MINE, saith the Lord. Not ours.

Learn the difference yourself, genius. Murder is premeditated malice. Crowing about killing someone is not 'justified self-defense'. Vengeance is MINE, saith the Lord. It doesn't say: "vengeance is yours; proclaim the death of all who attack your family." Q says READ THE BIBLE. Try finding the verse UNDER THE NEW COVENANT that justifies that action. Go ahead.

I'm talking to someone who quotes the Bible as if they're a Christian. Q says READ THE BIBLE. The Bible says: "But if you don't forgive men their. trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Jesus said that. He is a guy who was actually God.

Murder = "premeditated malice", actually. Vengeance is MINE, saith the Lord

And you obviously skipped the comment I was replying to, where "premeditated malice" - i.e. the difference between "murder" and "killing" was stated. Try reading YOUR Bible, O most knowledgeable one and find the verse that says: "Vengeance is YOURS, saith the Lord - spout your righteous anger and justified murder when you feel like it."

If you read what's actually being said in the comment I replied to you might be able to figure out that I'm responding to "premeditated malice", which is the definition of murder vs killing. Nowhere in the Bible will you find a verse that says "Vengeance is YOURS, saith the Lord - go and kill anyone who does you wrong." The comment was not about self-defense. It was about a premeditated act of "vengeance".

You people are hilarious. You only show your extreme ignorance when you don't even understand the difference between the OLD COVENANT and THE NEW. Try reading Q, since he seems to be more of a God to you, and you'll notice Q says: READ THE BIBLE. Then go and actually READ your Bible - not just the bits you like, and not just once a year. Read the whole thing keeping it all in context and you'll find the New Covenant as embodied in Jesus - a character you may have heard of in passing who is also GOD - DOES AWAY with the Law and the Old Testament justice. Genius.

Lol. List one single non-pacifist act of Jesus with qualifying exegesis by someone who actually knows the Bible, as opposed to yourself, who clearly doesn't.

Before you quote the Bible, try understanding all of it in context, genius. There's something called The New Testament written many hundreds of years after the book you quote wherein a WHOLE NEW covenant is created between God and Man. Try reading the words of Jesus and reconsidering your smug "before you quote laws".
