Then, the speech by secdef Chris Miller, and his praise of Pence left me scratching my head. POTUS would not have put him in charge of some of the most historic operations if he did not trust him. I'm going to reserve judgement on this one till it plays out.
Or was he telling Pence that there were mil operations he was not part of. Pence does not look like a person receiving a compliment. Maybe he's just looking stoic and doesn't want to accept the praise, but usually there is an acknowledgement of a head nod, a smile or something. Pence looks frozen.
Remember when Trump was asked if Pence was going to run with them for this next term? Trump said, how about it Mike, let's do it again. And Pence had that same fake laughing smile. If he is a dirty rat, can you imagine his position having to put on that face everyday? Looks like he grins and bears it.
Normally the VP is the ‘hit man’ speaking smack against those whom criticize his boss thus protecting and defending him in the court of public opinion. I would expect him to be leading the charge and railing against the most fraudulent election in history but he barely says anything - he should be out there as a force calling everyone and everything out.
