An EC vote on 1/6 implies that there was a legitimate general vote on 11/3--that did not happen. The exercise that happened on 11/3 was NOT an attempt to steal an election, it was an attempt to steal a country (from within) for a foreign power--TREASON.
To proceed with a sham EC vote on 1/6 would give legitimacy to the 11/3 (exercise, which was anything but legitimate). Therefore, to POTUS, 1/6 is not about the EC vote, it's about exposing and stopping the coup. January 6th is about exposing and arresting TRAITORS, especially in Congress. All those who think they are getting away with something will be there, and TV cameras will be rolling. Constitutionally, POTUS has the authority to arrest any and all congressmen and Senators guilty of TREASON.
I believe that at 1pm on January 6, when all traitors are comfortably seated, POTUS will surround the capital building with federal troops (NG, Marshalls, marines, Patriots: whatever is required) and quick as lightning arrest the traitors.
POTUS will have to make a case to the American people, and I don't know the best way to do that (Jeffrey Epstein presented to the American people on the floor of a joint session of congress and testifying against "our elected representatives" might do it) , but the whole point is that 1/6 is not about an EC vote. It's about dropping the hammer.
Once the filth is out of the way, perhaps then we can proceed to the election by those remaining in the aftermath.
Just sayin. It's not about the election; it's about the TREASON.
There is actually quite a few ways that they can fuck with the vote. First, there is going to be a debate for 12 hours, 2 for every state being disputed.
What's not clear is how that is done. Obviously you can't give 5 minutes to every Senator or House representative, so who gets to speak?
Can they use charts and graphs?
Can they yield their time to others?
What evidence are they allowed to introduce?
All of these details are not in the constitution and all are up for interpretation and fuckery by the leaders of both houses. So expect some very restrictive rules because McConnell is a traitor and now pretty much everyone knows it.
January 6th (3 USC Section 15) is an arbitrary date to COUNT the votes.
Congress can change that date, however impractical at this point unless a law exists under some condition that allows it to be changed under "emergency" declaration of some sort...using the Pandemic strategy playbook.
January 6, 2021: Joint Session of Congress to Count
Electoral Votes and Declare Election Results Meets
On January 6, or another date set by law, the Senate and
House of Representatives assemble at 1:00 p.m. in a joint
session at the Capitol, in the House chamber, to count the
electoral votes and declare the results(3 U.S.C. §15). The
Vice President presides as President of the Senate. The Vice
President opens the certificates and presents them to four
tellers, two from each chamber. The tellers read and make a
list of the returns. When the votes have been ascertained
and counted, the tellers transmit them to the Vice President.
If one of the tickets has received a majority of 270 or more
electoral votes, the Vice President announces the results,
which “shall be deemed a sufficient declaration of the
persons, if any, elected President and Vice President.”
One of my state's Senators, James Lankford, serves on Senate Rules Committee. He's also on the list of 11 Senators contesting some electors. I doubt if he would allow such shenanigans to get through committee.
Now, on the house side, one of my state's Representative is minority leader on the Rules Committee. Doubt he would permit such shenanigans to proceed without a fight. Still, good to keep your eyes on the house cuz they're really sneaky, unfair and like a runaway railroad.

It's okay when the demonrats do the objecting but absolutely not for the Republicans. Same old song and dance. Nothing new here.
EC has already voted. Just have to count them.
January 6 is Epiphany Day and I think there will be an Epiphany of biblical proportion!
