The uptick of activity on this .win is really exciting to see, and our very small mod team is working hard to keep the conversation on topic and the quality high.
Some of you are really doing some great work with the ole "Deport" button, but I think we can do better! If you see a comment or post that you think goes against the spirit of our rules, be it an off-topic post, a disrespectful commenter, or a shilly shill post: hit that deport button and let us know so we can keep an eye on things.
Good faith deports will never be punished, so if in doubt deport em out.
I came over from voat and I have to say I appreciate the spirit of unity and comradship I've found here. The spirit of voat was often hostile and mean spirited. It is refreshing to be among people who are sharing truth and working for the betterment if all. The spirit if WWG1WGA. Great job Patriots.

Funny you mention that, because I tried deporting someone and it was unresponsive. I use deport sparingly. I'll keep trying. Thank you.
When you deport it doesn't automatically remove the content, it gets flagged and we manually decide whether to leave or remove it. Sometimes if a disrespectful comment has already been heavily downvoted or an off topic post has generated lots of comments we leave it up anyway.
