That could be it too but I’m on the more optimistic side. Trump was praising Pence last night and I doubt Pence told Grassley he changed his mind between the end of the rally and when Chuck Grassley talked to the reporter

Kind of, but kind of not, on the praising. He said that he hopes he does the right thing but if he doesn't he might not like him so much. Then he goes onto he likes him and he is a good guy. But Trump always says nice things until he is betrayed. If he really trusted Pence, he wouldn't of had to say the hope part.

I trust Trump. Pence always struck me as a mask wearer, and I am not talking about the COVID kind. Then the him and Ryan thing during Trump 2016 run. Then the envelope.....

So I am at the let's see what happens point with Pence.

Because it was a way to appease the Republican party. Don't you remember the Republican Convention? There was many in the Republican party that didn't want Trump. They did the same thing with Reagan. Reagan didn't really want HWB. Can you blame him?
