I think scavino put this out to calm the DS panic. there is talk of attempting to remove him via 25th amendment, not sure that would work though, he would have to be incapacitated.

How panicked are those frauds in Congress?

Trying to remove him when supposedly Biden will be inaugurated in two weeks...this proves that they know this isn't happening.
