He also slipped in that he had tried every legal avenue. I think you need to do that before you can explore "other" avenues.

Yeah, a very precise message in that video. So much so that people are tempted down a “it’s a deep fake“ rabbit hole (fairly certain it’s not).
I like your analysis, and a message this precise takes a bit of “acting“ to deliver explicitly, and our free wheeling truth-teller is not usually constrained by the “requirement to be an actor,“ unlike most other politicians. Therefore, the presentation was not what we were used to.
I have spent some time today on TD making the case that Trump condemning “violence & lawlessness“ was not a direct shot at “his people.”
Another reason to use the “violence & lawlessness“ phrase so close to his own followers is two give the appearance that everything is normal, by aligning a little more with the distributed propaganda, so as not to telegraph his actual, eventual intent.
