I live not far from Camp LeJeune and have been hearing lots of plane groups leaving from there all morning. Is there any change in the number of military flights above the USA at this time??

Not sure, but to add to this...anecdotally, of course:
I am on the path between Dover AFB & McGuire AFB, and usually I'll get a two or three military craft over every coupe weeks, usually transport planes and helicopters. In the past few days, it's been multiple flights at every time of day. And these are flying so log they rattle the house, so there's no mistaking what kinds of craft they are.
