The politics in school was ridiculous when I was there. Always had been. But I’m going back to the debating the ‘92 election, listening to Rush on the bus, and watching Waco live in history class and getting in trouble for not keeping my mouth shut. (My politics were pretty much in place at a young age!)

The whole town was getting corrupt as hell though. I remember the back door deals with Shields and then Freeholder Sweeney to get Field of Dreams put in then their sweetheart typical NJ corruption for Riverwinds. My parents finally got out of WD a couple years ago so I have no real reason to go back there now.

Glad you were able to escape with little trauma (I hope). I’m with you. PB&J in the woods any day!!

A spokesman for Leahy said the decision on presiding over the trial is up to Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.)

Horseshit.....this is up to the US Constitution.

They do. I saw that one yesterday scouting off the Delmarva Peninsula. They’ve been out there a few times this past week from what I’ve seen. Off of the NC coast too if I remember correctly.

Untrue. The Constitution does not specify who administers the oath. It’s just been tradition that the Chief Justice does it.

Literally anyone can as long as the oath taker has the right to hold that office, as OP pointed out has happened in the past. Though in both cases, the oaths were given by judges (VT Justice of the Peace for Coolidge and US District Court judge for LBJ)

Gotta crop out the 2018 date if you’re going to try and pass this off as new.
