I currently sorta like him. Some of his ideas that involve hooking your brain to a device to fix problems kinda worry me not about him necessarily but what bad people could do with it. But like yesterday he drops like red pills here and there like the Use Signal tweet.
I didn't he wasn't hands on. And Paypal is how he made his money. Much like amazon, right place, right time, right plan. He's no slouch, but I don't think he's writing quantum physics down on 4 chalkboards. And yes the big risks for big ideas and enough to make it work, even when not cost effective.

Dont know about Elon I think he used to be the swamp but that is not criminal if he committed crimes I have not heard about them.

He's not really a genius he just had enough money to hire smart people. And ability to think outside the box and flood enough money to make it happen.
