There **has **to be something more to this story. I get-it that a lot of flight attendants are libs but they could lose their jobs for something like this unless there's an immediate threat to the aircraft, crew, or fellow passengers.
Yeah on my Southwest flight out to DC the Flight Attendant made several announcements about masks and after the 4th one we're looking around and calling her out on it as we didn't see anyone not wearing theirs and accused her of making it up to delay the flight. Maybe the Captain told her to cut it out as when we landed he came out and started a "four more years" chant himself.
On the flight back it happened again but the Attendant only did it a couple times before we go underway.
Doubt
My cousin is a captain at SW ... this wasn't him, but it's something he might do. Wouldn't surprise me. Also wouldn't be surprised if one flight a stewardess was annoying, and a different one on the return was leading cheers.
Agree - much of it is hard to understand, and it seems like the video is post-incident. Obviously, it's not right to kick people off flights for being Trump supporters, but it would helpful to know exactly what happened.
