Every single person that is part of the operation needs to be honored (in variable ways depending on involvement and mission) to the highest honor.
I really think the men and women that are and are going to be following through with these operations need to fully known and honored afterwards. This country, and the world will owe them a huge debt of gratitude of the likes we have never seen before.
I agree that with the magnitude of this operation, a monument should be erected. Many of the individual names may need to be left blank for a period of time for classification reasons, and furthur ops (we still got the world after America, WWG1WGAWW).
And there's the matter of all the anons... Maybe could have a golden pepe with keyboard statue for all the keyboard warriors, without which this all would have been near impossible?
I really like this, it's a concept we should brain storm and develop. A monument to how close we came to the end, and a reminder that even in the darkest hour, people coming together and working for each other really can turn things back towards the light.
This is a great idea.
Thank you, I've been thinking about submitting a post and requesting it be stickied for us to discuss what to do after all of this is resolved.
We have many issues that require course-correcting, but we do need to avoid being vindictive.
Kind of like a tour guide and Olympic mascot all in one, for the monument.
