I am aware that you didn't state ANYTHING about that, I was just speaking in general that these 'ACTIVE DUTY' military personal driving around civilian roads w/mounted weapons systems is NOT COMMON.
Yeah, sorry can't go more into detail.
All I can say is I've trained either on Ft.Drum or 2 other places (out of state) dependent on mission. Never did I fly to Texas from Drum or knew anyone directly in my Unit that did. Nor, did they know anyone of anyone that did.
It's like people are hazy on what that video actually shows. Those appeared to be fully armed active duty military, with Strykers with mounted weapon systems.
Active duty uses MATV's or MRAPS. 10th Mountain were the first Combat Unit to receive them from Oshkosh. We still have the humvees and Strykers, I just never personally used them in training or overseas.
I can't speak for the Nasty girls. I can, however, speak to what 10th mountain Division use and it ain't Strykers. They're slow, their armor sucks and they're outdated.
My apologies, the flight from Drum to Tx was just something I was trying to explain in another post.
Here is the flight path https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=a5a98d

What do you think these uncommon movements might be for? Or what they might mean? Im asking you because it sounds like you are in the know.
Can't give too much info cause of OPSEC. This isn't normal though.
Okay, thanks for the reply

It is unusual for sure.

Definitely Strykers. Possibly guard?

Ever heard of the Guard using Strykers with weapon systems?
There were reports weeks ago of Marines and Strykers being shipped into Nellis AFB in Nevada, if they were there, they have to be else where as well.
