US Constitution, 14th Amendment, Section 3:
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
It does not matter if a person is a House member, a Senator, or a Vice President. If such a person engages in insurrection or rebellion against the United States of America, or gives aid or comfort to the enemies thereof, they can NEVER hold ANY federal or state office.
PERIOD.
Missed it by just a bit... the only congress critters we have left are the ones that voted against confirming the fraudulent election results. That means only 12 senators and a bit over 100 representatives? Something like that.
All the rest can no longer hold office... should be fun.
(and the military WILL enforce those laws)
I think there will be more that stay in office, or just asked to resign. I bet a lot of them were blackmailed to the point where they didn't really have a choice. As in threats against themselves or their children. I think the ones that had a clean record otherwise will get to stay.
