Trump keeps people around until the very last minute when he needs to get rid of him. Chad Wolf has always been a deep state agent as we have seen all during antifag rioting etc.

If Trump is forcing him to resign, I can think of only one thing. Trump will be pushing forward with the final stages of the operation which will be heavily military, and he does not want DHS creating obstacles in anyway, and hence get rid of him.

I expect the same will happen with Wray as well.
