He prevented his supporters from going to the Capitol until after the Antifa infiltrators were forced to start "storming" the building without them. The other side's plan was to delay the certification altogether by having the mob enter the building before one pm. POTUS tricked them by starting his speech an hour late.
We can thank the authors of the Constitution for requiring the vote certification to be underway by one p.m. on January 6th. Once it started, they were going to be forced to hear the objections from AZ early on. That's why the Capitol police had to wave in the smaller crowd of pre-planned rioters without the benefit of the larger crowd to provide cover. It is entirely possible that the plotters intended to do much worse damage but were prevented from doing so by the relative absence of people at the scene.
Although the Congress had to complete the certification process, the invasion gave them the all too convenient excuse to listen to no further objections (as though they had listened to any in the first place.)
Are you saying the other side didn’t want to certify and were coerced by the turn of events? But how would that explain there earnst to get back to the ‘work of the people’ felt like vomiting when I heard pence say that then shumer and McConnell talking down on frustrated and desperate citizens and just seemingly cold hearted that woman bled out on in that building and a couple hours later there lecturing the country about how virtuous they are and how we’re lucky to have them at least that’s how it came across to me. Am I allowed to curse here.? Here goes. Fuck them.
It was quite amazing to think about after the event. I literally thought to myself: "Trump's coming on at 11!! Hm ... it's 11:45 and he hasn't started. That's fine, we're having fun out here. Man, that was a REALLLLLLY long speech. Let's saunter on over there."
He even told us in the speech, "I could talk about this for hours, but I won't."
If he KNEW the raid would happen... You can do the rest
I'm sorry, I don't understand. If he knew the raid would happen, why did he send his supporters to the Capitol?

And he tricked them again but inserting white hat actors to grab laptops *hopefully
Makes sense. Thank you!

Okay, thanks for your replies and for your patience.

I wish he would have. I was mesmerized.
Facts. Antifa was beating on police but trump supporters stepped in and protected him and got him to safety. Oh and he was black if that matters
