As an IT guy, it's my belief that it was intended from the very beginning that they get all of your data. It was a honeypot, a trap. They didn't just "get hacked" and have 70-80tb of data taken. Somebody gave them the keys to the kingdom or all of the data. The hacking story is just a cover so they can release it all and start a full on purge and unpensioning of everyone involved.
Nothing is private on Parler, so why does it even matter?
At any rate, say they link an Anon account to an IP or email, what are they gonna do? Doxxing 20 million people or whatever doesn't have the same effect. And if employers start purging employees over this, then they are going to be dragged through some of the worst legal trouble they could hope for.
Yeah because the courts totally give a shit. ?
It’s almost like we didn’t watch courts just tell the presidents legal team to go fuck themselves.
Some courts do. Not all of them have been compromised. Conservatives still win lawsuits although, if we lose this election that may not last long.
Amazon has IDS and IPS for that. Very good ones too. There is no way in hell they can't possibly notice that happening. They run essentially some of the biggest server farms in the world for a whole lot of services. It's more likely that Epstein killed himself twice than it is that Amazon made such an impossibly stupid mistake. The systems are designed to shut that shit down, not leave it with less security than a wordpress blog.
^^^This, this, and umm...THIS^^^
Absolutely agree, also, is not a so concrete story, how to dump a website via a docker image, would be a little more complex, that can't act as a collector simpli and rebuild the data with said "giant crawler", where we leave the database and his relative dump? Anyway, if we get the data out, i'm afraid that a "help" may have came from AWS directly....wasn't it hosted there?
Everything they had was done on Jeff Bezo's servers. He owns the washington post. Do you trust the washington post? Do you trust amazon? Why would you trust parler which had literally no pushback until a couple days ago unlike Gab. It was controlled and monitored from the start.
Amazon would be fucked if that's what they let happen. There are a ton of safeguards in place that stop all of this. IDS, IPS. Download speed and data caps. They would have had to have access to the keys to the kingdom for a very long time without anyone on parler or amazon noticing. I just can't see Amazon being that openly and criminally negligent. They likely just gave the data out and came up with that story about leaving the barn doors open. If they shut down parler, they'd have absolutely 200% disabled every admin account there was for it when they did it.
I'd sooner believe that Biden got 80 million votes.
