Thomas Wictor @[email protected] A lot of people think that if they can't know exactly what's happening second by second, they have to give up and have faith.
In reality, all you have to do is learn just enough to understand the broad strokes.
I'd guess that almost 100 percent of Trump's supporters never bothered to research him.
It's because none of the people from whom they take their cues told them to do so.
They also don't know anything whatsoever about our military capabilities.
I have been looking around quodvorum. Its a pretty awesome place. Reminds me of the early Internet days.
It is, isn't it? It's like a slow, thoughtful Twitter where people can ACTUALLY voice their opinions.
What's the deal with it? I too have been browsing a bit because of Wictor & the Cates brothers; what's so different / special about it?
Heavily moderated or something?
Maybe because it’s a small community, but the engagement is high quality. UI is awesome for a geek like me. I never voluntarily signed up for any social media, but with qv, I was drawn to it.
Sounds good. I'll definitely have to register & lurk.
Thanks!
