Check this out, as of 1:11 AM eastern US time on 14 January 2021, a COBRA BALL aircraft took off out of Des Moines, IA, circled the city numerous times, then headed out over Omaha, NE. The RC-135S Cobra Ball is a rapidly deployable aircraft that flies Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed missions of national priority to collect optical and electronic data on ballistic targets. Maybe I'm over thinking it and it's just training, but I find it odd it was deployed so early and doing circles around these areas, I figured I post it since I saw it.

It was the same couple of days ago. Don't know if it's normal or not, some say yes, some say no - a lot of speculations on a lot of subjects all over the internet. We can feel the storm coming...
That's actually a lot of activity for Europe. I live in the UK and use that site frequently to track the local Apaches I hear, never seen it that busy to be honest.
edit: that stuff off the coast of Wales (that's the bit on the left) is a training area and Hawks are trainer jets. Doesn't explain the rest
Do you know what it meant? I heard Trump had meeting with military last night.

Call the ball.
I think its just different time zones. But i haven't paid much attention to the other side of the map much.
The majority of Europe is at least five hours ahead of us...
I dont remember seeing that many in Europe, most of time Im looking around 3 pm est,
-5 to +1 D.C. to European continent
I dont wonna be that guy, but im pretty sure every military plane has like a button, to go completely invisible for the normal citizen radars.
If some serious operation happend, you would never be able to see planes online

Although after looking, there seems to be a bit more activity over France?
