By purging any Q accounts, if it's real and arrests start they can't voice what's happening and Twitter can control the conversation inciting people it's an evil takeover.

My tiny little Twitter account was suspended (& remain so) last week for "platform manipulation". I'm 100% certain it was on the basis of who I follow, and not on any of my actions. I rarely post, just like & occasionally retweet.
Yes, they think they can prevent us from spreading information by keeping us off Twitter. As if they're the only game in town. They think we can't go beyond their social media. Time to get creative.

To answer your question, Yes, I think is the common understanding in the Great Awakening.
However, think more broadly. Accounts promoting or sharing Q have been identified as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, threat to the Cabal or Deep State narrative and agenda. So work began early on to try to block the Great Awakening (Q & Q movement) from growing, reaching others, etc. But they failed. Some of the milestones in this work include:
Banning of a MASSIVE reddit "the Great Awakening" which grew, over about 5 months, in the number of subscribers from a ten thousands up to more than 100,000 official subscribers (and a LOT more according to Q, whose numbers were hidden by the platform in order to downplay it - some 300K or more) (July 2018)
Increased anti-Q articles in mainstream media propaganda organs (From late 2018 onwards)
Removal of more prominent Q-related accounts on Ytube 4 or 5 months ago
So, yes, the recent purge is part of that work to try to prevent any information that contradicts the DS narrative, and specifically at this time. Remember, by controlling the narrative - the story that people get from multiple sources reinforcing the story they WANT people to accept as true and believe - they control how people think, act. Part of that agenda is to disempower people, demoralize, make them think they are in the minority, etc.
MANY Q drops refer to this dimension of the fight. For example, "narrative" appears in some 185 Q drops. I suggest you read through them in order to get a larger, overall picture of what the censorship is about, why, what their objectives are and what WE can do about it.
