To be swayed by majority opinion or mass opinion or by loud, oft-repeated lies is a sign of weak commitment to truth.

If we know the truth, and we do because it is self evident, we need to have a firm commitment to intellectual honesty within ourselves. If we lack this commitment then we are easy prey for the intellectual under class where criminal intent is so very common. .
