Bananabagboy, I was hoping to find a DC poster here. Have you lived there long? If so, I'd like to know how this compares to other inaugurations. I don't think people generally pay very close attention. This time, WE are all eyes on. But is it really very different from other inaugurations? Are there truly far more military present? Were the public address announcements / tests made near the mall today unique to this year? What can you tell us about the differences between this particular inaugural preparation and past inaugurations? Thanks. I'm sure a lot of people would love to hear.
This inauguration is far different. Starting last week there have been road closures all over the place. Yesterday every major road going into the city was blocked off. I had to drive into VA just to get into the city. Military convoys everywhere, not just directly around the capitol.
Since 1969. There has not been anything like this since the civil war. The Trump innaugeration had much more than usual and the Democrats burned as many places as they could get their hands on. I worked on the Hill during Vietnam. There were hoards for various protests and these people destroyed everything they could and the capitol and all office buildings were wide open. And the Capitol police had guns but no bullets.
During the May Day demonstration where they arrested 6000 people and threatened to close it down? No way would I let someone tell me I couldn't work. There were armed Marines lining both sides of ongoing lanes of the 14th st bridge. I was pulling up the on ramp and had to stop for a duck and her baby ducks. Marines came to check on traffic stopped and we all waited for mommy and babies to get across to safety and we all cheered. A nice moment in the middle of a maelstorm.
So many signs point to something big happening....
Yeah. That seems over specific. Not just expect delays. But avoid it. Be nice if it had a date confirmation.
boots on the ground! Oorah!
the irony of Lockdowns.
The signs in ny say to wear a mask
Beltway headed towards American Legion?
American Legion Bridge between VA and MD near Tysons Corner. This is on MD side.

Okay, thanks.
It would be great if some Patriots posted banners on all the overpasses in DC that says, “Trump won!”
Hmmm...maybe it could be protesters walking with be signs, exercising their 1st Amendment rights (while we still have them)... https://www.whitehousedossier.com/2013/06/26/impeach-obama-overpass-demonstrations-planned/
Many of the signs like this on the beltway actually say 1/19 to 1/21.
Whoever wrote that message is a kiddie diddler for sure.
I read, avoid travel to DC, expect major closures, and major deaths.
