What if all the battle ground states have their NG called to DC leaving them wide open to other Miltary assets to take over critical infrastructure in those ststes?
The lying, corrupt officials in those states are pretty much sitting ducks at that point.
exactly, rumour had it that governors were being called to see if they have any NG they can spare. that's what got me thinking, Trump always says don't tell your enemy what you gonna do, when and where.
It's definitely plausible. Seems a little late in the game but maybe that's the beauty of it. I can't halp but cast my mind back to when Chris Miller said at the Space Command 1st year anniversary that "They had been through the most complex military operations in the nations history".
That's a BIG statement to make. And There's been no massive operations overseas to speak of in that context. But what if he meant upcoming ops. Meaning what we are seeing unfold now. It has to be more than just a big build up of NG in the capital. That doesn't make much sense.

if anything happens, the military in each state will be the only force able to respond, in effect an inadvertent martial law, while not a single military presence in DC, holy shit I think I might be on to something here.
All of this attention of the NG in DC has reminded me of all the press the Marines got practicing beach landings for the first gulf war. The SEALs then ordered thousands of boogie boards, literally wiped out all the stock in California so they could attach landing lights to them. That diversion kept a lot of Saddam's forces tied up at the coat, then the bulk of our forces left hooked up from SA.
I started to ponder about WHY all the National Guard were being pulled away from their home states - even Puerto Rico. Could it be more about something happening in those states than what's happening in DC?

And if a local NG has any loyalty to the city, the ones from outside of DC won't.
