Well. More like sit home and read my bible. Covid excuse closed our church.
Watching our Church online?
I find this so strange in a nationwide phenomenon with places of worship. We have the 1st amendment for a reason. Where are the patriots in the churches standing up for this freedom to practice religion? If you can go to Costco with hundreds of people, you can go to church with hundreds of people. Social distancing isn't a requirement, its a recommendation. I'm really surprised so many churches just simply complied rather than defied. Is church really that important to people? A fear of POSSIBLE jail time for gathering in a church is horrible. Didn't the early church Christians risk their lives to meet all the time? Isn't going to jail worth it if you're strong in your convictions? Apparently not it seems.
I sometimes drive 40 min to a mega-church that had the faith to stay open and never close. No masks, people sit next to each other. We are allowed, even encouraged, to sing. Loving that they preach more faith than fear. Churches that are closer are closed, except for one that tiptoes carefully, with spaced-out seating and masks... went once.
