The realism of the founding fathers, indeed is remarkable.

To suggest that no one is willing to "entertain" the idea, presupposes that no one here is capable of critical thinking.

That is quite a statement.

Following this lawful order, carries no burden of logical thinking, or entertaining the idea you have been deceived.

Then to why would we trust Trump? Maybe you are forgetting, that in the days of the founding father, though honorable men they were, it cannot be said: promises made promises kept in the same manner as today. Yes, most kept their promises to vow their sacred honor, fortune and live to the cause of liberty.

And, frankly, it is not so much trusting the government these days, as it is totally corrupt in desperately in need of remedial action.

So, how to bring about such a change without breaking the Union, with millions of dead motherfuckers in its wake, with food shortages and other undesirable unintended consequences?

Enter a champion who has proven his mettle. Name me one President who has ever heard: We love you.

With this said, I think you are mis-characterizing what is going on. I would grant you though, given the nature of this libertarian experiment in self governance, and the documents it is based on: it is unique in world history. It is exceptional.

And this indeed plays into messianic ideas. People without such beliefs, may feel the same though, when simply and honestly investigating Trumps record and say: I trust him, and I love him.
