This is what finally convinced me. The cherry on top.

C-130s and blackhawks don't circle around over sprawling populated areas for no reason. If they had a mechanical malfunction and fell out of the sky they could kill hundreds of people... yet they are just flying around in freaking circles at low altitude? Nah that's a strait up mission/op. They are circling around like vultures for a reason. And its NYC not DC. They aren't protecting the inauguration etc. NYPD doesn't need help other than a few National Guard troops on the ground.

Something hard core is going on and its FAR from normal.
