Not if the very foundations on which the city was built upon (both physically and metaphorically) are revealed to be truly evil, which may very well be the case.
I'd be more outraged if, once the depths of this evil are revealed, people clamor to it's defense—and I'm sure some will. I just hope (and know, tbh) that it won't be anyone who sees the truth, which is another part of what I think we, as anons, we're asked to do: be shepherds in a way for any good people who have been almost entirely hoodwinked by this beast of an evil operation to wake up, at least a little easier than a full on system shock.
Exactly. Not to mention DC has become synonymous with corruption and power. In order to truly remove the evil and corruption (as well as the power-hungry attitude), the government truly has to return to the ideals of for the people and by the people. What better way to do that than to not only remove the demons who have run the US corporation but to move the seat of the government to a place that represents the ideals of the republic? Otherwise, you're just building the new government on the same sewage the last one had as a foundation.
