Estimated that, depending on the demographic, only 8-15% of general pop are capable of critical thinking (or conspiracy theorists/truthers).

So more like 80% are paging "Mr Dumbass". Umm...that's "Dumas"

alot of ppl just don't have time, they grab a bit of news from whatever TeeVee or internet portal they watch and that is the end of that.....

they also have lives to live and money to earn and bills to pay, children to take care of, wives to pander to etc. and there just isn't the hours in the day to follow everything like a CIA analyst....

market traders, journalists, news bloggers, unemployed, gamers, coders, people who live and breath online and are scanning events to make a buck - they are the ones that have a vested interest in all this.
